MISSION & VISION
I’m working to strengthen the human infrastructure that keeps people, families, and communities healthy and stable. My mission is to design human services systems that prevent people from falling through service gaps and to build the supports that help them regain stability and pursue their goals.
I focus my work on the foundations people need to survive and thrive: housing, healthcare, nutrition, clean water, income, and mental health support. These aren’t luxuries. They’re the cornerstones of stability, and without them individuals and families get caught in endless cycles of crisis and trauma.
Our current safety net catches people when they fall, but it rarely gives them the balance or momentum to climb out successfully or permanently. Too many people slip in and out of programs or get stuck in survival mode because the support isn’t enough to rebuild on. No one should have to live in a net like this.
My work is about changing that dynamic. I want to use rigorous research to help create policies and design programs that don’t just prevent collapse, but make it possible to heal, stand up again, and keep moving toward a life that feels whole and sustainable.
“One’s life has value so long as one attributes value to the life of others.“

My Vision
I want to see a world where people spend more time daring to achieve their own dreams rather than struggling just to survive.
A just, stable society gives people the freedom to take risks, to be bold, and to step fully into their potential. When housing, healthcare, food, income, and mental health are secure, individuals and families don’t have to live in cycles of crisis. They’re able to pursue exciting opportunities and perform at their best. Communities thrive when people are free to dream and strong enough to bring those dreams to life.

My Core Principles
Everything I do begins with creating safety: emotional, physical, psychological, and social. Safety allows trust to grow, voices to be heard, and progress to begin. It’s also the first step in healing from trauma and the most reliable way to prevent harm and abuse before they happen.
Safety is my foundation, but it’s not my cage. I don’t believe in safety at all costs. I believe in the kind of safety that lets people grow, learn, and take risks without fear of destruction. True safety allows us to understand danger well enough to face it, and protect what truly matters while we build something stronger than fear.
Justice & Integrity
I hold myself accountable for acting ethically with honesty and consistency, even when it is uncomfortable. Integrity builds trust, and trust is the foundation of lasting safety in every system.
Communication & Understanding
I communicate to be understood and listen to understand because mutual understanding prevents harm and creates the conditions where people feel secure being themselves.
Generosity & Empowerment
Safety should expand, not contract. Empowerment gives others the tools to protect and express themselves, and generosity ensures no one is left behind.
Curiosity & Learning
I stay curious and keep learning because people and systems are complicated. I’d rather be surprised than stuck. Learning isn’t just for my work. It’s how I grow, stay open, and find new ways to understand the world. Lifelong learning keeps me adaptable and helps me build safety that fits real lives, not assumptions.
Advocacy & Action
Safety is not passive. It has to be defended and designed. Advocacy means standing up when something endangers others, and action means putting that care into practice. True safety requires both.
Compassion & Community
Safety deepens when people feel cared for rather than judged. Compassion helps communities rebuild trust after harm and sustain connection through difference. I try to create spaces where care and accountability can exist together.
Stewardship & Sustainability
I take responsibility for protecting people, resources, and systems so they can endure. Safety is not real if it only lasts a moment. Stewardship means thinking about future safety, not just comfort in the present.
My Interests & Special Skills
I believe everyone should pursue new skills and knowledge every day.
I value curiosity and discovery. I’ve cultivated a unique and wide range of talents and skills that I use to help me on my mission to make the world better.
